Idaho has got a waiver for 'No Child Left Behind' (NCLB) act from the Obama Administration after waiting for several months, the U.S. Department of Education announced on 17 October, 2012. Idaho schools will be evaluated based on the new Five-Star Rating System instead of the pass or fail system which has been followed since last decade. The rating will be based on the measures achieved by student as well as academic growth as per Tom Luna, Idaho's school superintendent.
