Semizone Releases its Enhanced Web Site during Semicon West
After two years of serving the semiconductor industry through its educational website (semizone.com), Semizone released a new site, Semizone 2.0, with significantly enhanced features on July 11, 2003.
The new site features improved navigational features developed through over two years data and user feedback obtained from Semizone's industry's leading educational web site. The new site also provides enhanced graphics and corporate branding.
Over a dozen new courses are also being released with the Semizone 2.0. In addition, new products including Certificate Programs, Knowledge Library, and Knowledge Assessment are being offered with the new web site release.
Knowledge Assessment assesses the level of knowledge and competence of an individual in a particular field through an on-line test. This product can be customized for a client company and can be used as test-outs for specific job functions and responsibilities. Knowledge Assessment is also used as a tool to determine the recommend courses for the individual's requirements.
Knowledge Library allows the user to search Semizone's database of lectures, videos, simulators, papers, patents, and other content and access the content instantly. All knowledge assets in Semizone's database are designed to facilitate efficient searches. This product is useful for the user who is looking to obtain quick information on a specific subject matter.
Certificate Program is typically composed of a sequence of courses and encompasses a broader category. Certificate Programs are useful for individuals requiring intensive education in a new field. It can also be used to certify employees (in conjunction with Knowledge Assessment) for specific job functions. Testing requirements for the Certificate Program is more stringent that for courses.
